OmniplexGitHub

Close the laptop. Your agents keep working.

Omniplex runs Claude Code and Codex on a computer you leave on. Walk away, then open the same sessions on your phone. Everything on this page is a button. Press things.

Step 1

Put it on a computer that stays on

Download OmniplexFrom the GitHub releases page

The Mac app starts at login, lives in the menu bar and updates itself. Windows is coming soon. There is no build yet.

Shut the lid

The laptop is a screen onto another machine. Go on, close it.

Lid open. You are watching.

Meanwhile, on the machine you left on

lines in the session log, and counting

The agents run here: a desktop, a Mac mini or a server. A laptop works as the host too, until it sleeps.

It asks. You answer.

From whichever device you have on you. Try it.

Claude Code wants to run

npm test

Kill the signal

Every session is written to a log on the machine. Drop the connection or close the tab and nothing is lost.

Phone online. It shows what the log shows.

Claude Code or Codex

Omniplex drives the CLIs you already have, with your own logins. It does not replace them and never sees your tokens.

Step 2

First launch checks your tools

  • ?Claude Code
  • ?Codex
  • ?git

It looks for all three and says what is missing.

Step 3

Pair your phone, once

Put the computer and the phone on Tailscale, then enter the pairing code one time. Every other device does the same.

Not paired yet. Drag the phone across, or press it.

One worktree per thread

Each thread can get its own git worktree. Omniplex creates it and cleans it up.

  • fix-safari-checkout
  • cart-totals

Two threads, two worktrees, one repo.

A project can span several repos or folders. Threads are grouped by project, and you can pin the ones you care about to the top.

Not on the public internet

It listens only on your machine and on private and Tailscale addresses.

Linux or a server? One line.

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/asiraky/omniplex/main/scripts/install.sh | sh

Works on macOS too. It puts the server in ~/.local/bin. Run omniplex and open the URL it prints. There is no desktop app on Linux.

Free. Open source. MIT.

Read it, fork it, file an issue.
